I am honoured to have been asked to join the editorial board of the Journal of Tourism History. My responsibilities include advising the editor and associate editor, refereeing submissions to the journal, and encouraging appropriate submissions relating particularly to tourism in Asia.
On 3 April 2017 I returned to full duties at the university after the end of my sabbatical.
A monograph I co-authored with three colleagues, titled Contents Tourism in Japan: Pilgrimages to “Sacred Sites” of Popular Culture, has been published by Cambria Press.
